In case of stolen Confederate gold that allegedly rest on the bottom of Michigan Lake there was simply no technology in XIX century to do seep sea searching ("Nautilus" swam on different waters ) ) so when something was sunk it was most likely lost.īut the case on Oak Island is quite unique because there was several activites there unaccounted in history books for at least 1000 years or maybe even longer and from what we can see there is obvious purpose here - treasure that is not meant to be found. The idea came to me recently when I reminded myself about trick in "Babylon 5" done by security chief to Ambassador G'Kar :) First thing I wonder is why so many treasures are still buried on this planet? Obviously you can hide something as deposite for dark hour, during pirate times you probably wanted to hide something valuable from your comrates, stash gold far away for any sailing roads to have some money for retirement:)Obviously many things could go wrong - you could be killed without telling your relatives about treasure or mention it in testament etc.
